ELKWOOD Studios is owned and managed by Craig Field. Craig started work at The Pavilion Studio’s in Bondi in 2001 where he worked for 8 years, gaining invaluable experience. Relocating to the Blue Mountains Craig established Underwood Studio in 2010. The Studio had a genuine focus on excellence in both classical and jazz recordings. The studio encompassed high fidelity and transparency in all its sound recordings, mixing and mastering.

ELKWOOD Studios was opened in April 2022. It is a studio for inspiration and creativity. With amazing acoustic spaces and state of the art equipment.

Craig has two decades of experience and has produced, recorded, mixed and mastered ARIA No1 Album’s, hugely complex multi media mixes for AI cinematic experiences. Orchestral, jazz and pop productions. DOLBY ATMOS recordings in high resolution.

He has been a professional audio consultant for SONY Japan, SONY Australia and Swiss/German audio specialists Stagetec GMBh some of the largest audio companies in the world.
